Amanda Smith

Amanda Smith serves as Interim Chief Executive Officer of ARC Voyagers, appointed by the Board of Trustees in October 2026. She leads the organization’s staff, programs and partnerships while the Board conducts its search for a permanent CEO.

Amanda brings more than 20 years of experience in the intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) field. Before stepping into the interim role, she served as Executive Vice President and, before that, as Chief Services Officer, overseeing services for more than 1,300 children, adolescents and adults with I/DD. In those roles she helped shape organizational strategy, advance the service transformation underway in Employment and Adult Day Services, and lead business operations for ARC Voyagers’ ABA therapy franchise, Success on the Spectrum (SOS) Whitehall.

Amanda began her career as an ABA Therapist at Haugland Learning Center. She has since served as Program Manager at the Association for the Developmentally Disabled (ADD), Executive Director of Learning Never Ends, LLC, and Vice President of Programs and Strategic Partnerships at the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO), where she oversaw services for more than 1,200 individuals and families across 23 Ohio counties. She has also taught as Adjunct Faculty and Field Liaison in the Mental Health, Chemical Dependency, and Developmental Disabilities Department at Columbus State Community College.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Capital University and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business. She is known for building a culture of collaboration and accountability, and for keeping individuals and families at the center of every decision.
