About ARC Voyagers + Our Services

What is ARC Voyagers?

ARC Voyagers is a nonprofit supporting people with developmental disabilities through whole-person, community-based services. We help individuals live full lives—with independence, dignity, and connection.

What counties do you serve?

We currently serve individuals in Franklin County with ongoing plans to expand into more communities.

What types of funding do you accept?

We accept Ohio’s Home and Community Based Waiver Programs for People with Developmental Disabilities, and we explore grant or private-pay options when available.

Do you provide transportation?

We offer transportation to and from programs for eligible participants. It’s something we’ll discuss during intake based on your funding, location, and needs.

Are you still part of ARC Industries?

Our legal name, ARC Industries Incorporated of Franklin County Ohio will remain for all official purposes. In July 2025 we updated our doing business as name from ARC Industries to ARC Voyagers to carry forward our legacy while expanding our name, mission and services to better reflect our current and expanding services.

For Individuals

What can ARC Voyagers help me with?

We support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building the life you want—whether that means finding a job, making friends, learning new skills, or just having a meaningful day. We walk beside you, offering support in ways that make sense for your goals.

Can ARC Voyagers help me get a job?

Yes! We offer job coaching, interview prep, workplace support, and help connecting with inclusive employers. If you’re ready to work, or even just thinking about it, we’re ready to help.

What does a day at ARC Voyagers look like?

Every day is different, because every person is different. Some people work on job skills. Others take part in recreational or wellness activities, explore the community, or attend regularly scheduled day programming. We’ll help design a plan based on your interests and needs.

Do I have to attend full-time?

No, some people come a few days a week, others come more. It all depends on what’s right for you and what support you need. We’ll build a schedule that works for your life.

For Families + Guardians

How do I know if ARC Voyagers is the right fit for my loved one?

We encourage you to tour a program, talk with the staff, and get a feel for how we work. ARC Voyagers prioritizes dignity, communication, and customized support. If your loved one is looking for more independence, social connection, or vocational opportunity, we are a great fit.

How do I get started?

Contact the intake team. We’ll guide you through eligibility and funding options. Fill out our contact form.

What types of services are available?

We offer workforce readiness and employment services and community access programs. More services are on the way. All of our services are tailored to the person and built with family input where needed.

Do you communicate with caregivers and families regularly?

Yes. We believe caregivers and family members are a key part of a person’s support system. With permission, we keep caregivers and family members informed about progress, upcoming events, and any challenges that arise.

For Partners + Community

I’m an employer—how can I work with ARC Voyagers?

We partner with businesses to place job-ready candidates and provide on-site coaching. You’ll have a support team, and your company will be part of building a more inclusive workforce.

I’m a service coordinator—how do I refer someone?

Referrals can be made directly through the intake team. We’re happy to consult on funding, support plans, and person-centered goals to ensure a good fit.

Can community organizations collaborate with ARC Voyagers?

We actively seek partnerships with schools, nonprofits, healthcare providers, and community centers. If you have a shared vision for inclusion and impact, we’d love to work with you.

Looking Ahead: Future Services + Growth

Is ARC Voyagers expanding its services?

Yes. We are growing to serve more people across more life stages. That includes: care with therapy, Autism care for children, and future plans to continue to expand to serve the whole person.

Will your services be open to people outside the disability community?

Over time, yes. As we expand, many of our new services—especially in health related services—will be designed for the broader public, while keeping our disability-centered mission at the core.
