Natasha’s journey with Project STIR (Steps Toward Independence and Responsibility) is all about empowering people with disabilities to advocate for themselves. Natasha is a Receptionist at ARC Voyagers and her passion for building independence and community involvement has inspired her to become an advocate not only for herself but also for others. That dedication recently led to her joining the Council of Ohio Leaders, where she now has a platform to amplify voices across the state.
Through her teaching, Natasha has developed a unique approach—she often shows the “wrong way” first, then demonstrates the “right way,” making her lessons both practical and memorable. Whether using PowerPoint presentations or group activities, she creates engaging opportunities for people to practice independence, financial literacy, and self-discovery. Over the years, her guidance has built trust and a strong foundation for many individuals who are learning to navigate life more confidently.
Natasha’s dream is simple yet powerful: to support as many people as possible. For her, leadership means more than holding a title—it’s about being a voice for individuals with disabilities and showing what’s possible when advocacy and passion come together.
